New Addition to the Illinois Production Facility

October 4th 2013 Comments

With continued growth of sales and to continue our investment into the latest in process technology, we will be adding three new production lines at our Illinois facility. The final phases of both the overall design and selection of the best-suited processing equipment are being completed. Construction will begin this fall and we anticipate these new production lines to be fully installed and operational in the first quarter of 2014.

The additional production lines will increase capacities of dicing for various flake and granule sizes, milling to fine powders, and blending to exact specifications. These production lines are also designed for high-capacity and efficient processing, for increased output of the finished ingredients and with less by-product loss. Another essential part of the design will be many quality control steps, with foreign material sorting and removal. These food safety capabilities continue in our focus of producing reliable ingredients and delivering the confidence you’ve come to expect from us.

As we continue to build for the future, these additional production lines will bring our facility to 15 production lines of various process capabilities, quality control procedures, and food safety steps.

Thank you for your business partnership and loyalty, while we work diligently to increase our capacity. This will both allow us to continue operating with the latest technology in our production of Silva ingredients, and help ensure the timeliness of your orders. That’s confidence ... in the process.
