IT Administrator

The IT Administrator will oversee and contribute to the planning and maintenance of the data technology operations, including computer hardware, software, and telecommunications. IT Administrator will participate in the evaluation, development, and recommendation of solutions specific to the organization as well as individual departments. IT Administrator will be responsible for ERP administration, development, training, and support. IT Administrator works with organizational leaders to develop technology plans, policies, and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives.

Basic Functions:

  • Manage, implement, deploy, and maintain IT Hardware, Software, Systems, IT infrastructure strategy, IT processes, AV systems, devices, applications, and user services.
  • Monitor performance of IT Systems, Security and Backup.
  • Facilitate outside services and vendor contracts related to IT Systems, Devices, Applications, Internet Services, and Phone Systems. 
  • Provide user training for hardware, software, Microsoft applications, ERP system, and other IT/AV equipment and applications.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
  • Communicate with users on IT system related updates, enhancements, project statuses, and disruptions in services.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain IT policy compliance for security and SOX purposes.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems related to internal IT. 
  • Monitor, maintain, and update Standard ERP Operating Procedures, including ERP system update testing and implementation.
  • Oversee implementation and development of ERP Processes and Functions.
  • Train new employees in ERP functions and provide ongoing ERP support for ERP processing and reporting. 
  • Manage ERP system ticket system progress and resolution.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in IT operations. 
  • Relevant training and/or experience in ERP and IT Systems.
  • Relevant training and/or experience with SQL Databases.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to prioritize projects.
  • Able to demonstrate patience and active listening skills to work well with others and solve difficult technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Able to work irregular or extended hours as needed to support planned/unplanned projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standard office environment. 
  • Standard manufacturing environment with some stairs.
