Everybody Wins—Silva Receives Partners in Crest Culture Award
One of our goals is that our customers develop a deep confidence in the products we produce for them. That confidence is something that typically grows over time—we say it grows in the process.
We’ve partnered with Crest Foods in Ashton, Illinois, for years. During that time, we’ve gained their confidence through both our high-quality bulk food products and our shared culture values.

Crest Foods places a high value on their internal culture—how they interact with each other and how they interact with other organizations. Because of that, they recently awarded Silva International with their Partners in Crest Culture Award.
We were honored to receive this award, especially because it’s an “everybody wins” kind of award. Along with this award, Crest offers a monetary gift to the organization of the winner’s choosing.
Silva partners with Feed My Starving Children, an organization that provides food to people around the world who desperately need it. We immediately knew that we wanted the proceeds from our award to go to them.
“We are humbled to have received this recognition,” said Rick Balkema, Sales Representative for Silva. “It brings together several things that are important to us—great relationships with our partner organizations, a recognition of Silva’s high-quality products and culture, and making a difference for those who need it most.”
Thanks, Crest Foods, for your ongoing partnership and for your donation to Feed My Starving Children. Everybody wins!
